To support the goals adopted from time to time of Alameda Learning Center, a charter school under the Alameda Unified School District, as an educational school providing enrichment programs related to technology skills, educational activities, learner empowerment and learning to learn skills along with organizing various fundraising events.

EMPOWERMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH AND MOBILIZE FOR AND ENABLE THE PLANTING OF TRILLION NEW TREES WORLD WIDE. IS A GLOBAL CHILDREN AND YOUTH INITIATIVE PROMOTING CLIMATE JUSTICE. SINCE 2007 THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH HAVE EMPOWERED 88,000 PEERS, CALLED FOR THE TRILLION TREE CAMPAIGN (2011), HAVE ESTABLISHED A LARGE SCALE TREE PLANTING PROJECT (2014), INSPIRED THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY TO PROVE THAT TREES ARE ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE NATURAL SOLUTIONS TO SLOW DOWN THE CLIMATE CRISIS (2019) AND ARE MOBILIZING THE PLANTING OF 1 TRILLION TREES VIA THE APP.

THE PURPOSE OF THE IS TO SUPPORT PEACE BY CREATING AND DISSEMINATING MEDIA(VIDEO, PRINT, RECORDED, WEB, LIVE PRESENTATIONS) THAT COMMUNICATE STORIES OF HOPE AND INSPIRATION IN THE FACE OF VIOLENCE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EDUCATION, LECTURES AND PEACEBUILDING TRAINING AND CEREMONIES, PRIMARILY IN THE WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES OF LIBERIA, GUINEA AND SIERRA LEONE. THIS HAS EVOLVED INTO PROVIDING A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO ALLOW EX-COMBATANTS AND OTHERS TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION AND BECOME LEADERS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.

IS AN EAST PALO ALTO-BASED ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO ADVANCING THE CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH COMMUNITIES OF COLOR. WE FULFILL THIS MISSION BY BUILDING A STRONG FAMILY ATMOSPHERE THAT SUPPORTS OUR YOUTH THE FOLLOWING THREE PROGRAM AREAS: THE LIP STUDIO (ARTS AND CULTURE), THE COLLEGE INITIATIVE (EDUCATION), AND THE STREET CODE ACADEMY (TECHNOLOGY AND ECONOMICS). EACH PROGRAM, WE HELP OUR STUDENTS DISCOVER, DEVELOP, AND DIRECT THEIR CREATIVE GENIUS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THEIR COMMUNITY AND THE BROADER WORLD.

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE FORUMS FOR COLLABORATION THAT INCORPORATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOCUSING ON ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT VIA ENTREPRENEURSHIP. BRINGS TOGETHER ATHLETES, CONSERVATIONISTS, TECHNOLOGISTS, ARTISTS AND INNOVATORS TO BRING THEIR COLLECTIVE KNOWLEDGE AND SOCIAL CAPITAL TO SUPPORT DIRECT ACTION BY THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS TO SUPPORT OTHER ORGANIZATIONS PRODUCING MEANINGFUL RESULTS IN TARGETED AREAS.
